The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is administered by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) and is primarily a multiple-choice test. The GMAT is required for admission to most American, Canadian and European business schools for MBA programs. The GMAT is a standardized test that most MBA programs use to assess applicants. The test has three main sections – Verbal, Quantitative and analytical writing.
The test can be given year round with prior registration and availability of dates. Different schools have different GMAT score requirements and high scores significantly improve admission prospects at a school.
